Little White Dresses to Wear All Summer Long

Have you heard of the little black dress? Meet its sister, the little white dress. Lighten things up with a white dress for your next summer outing, whether you’re attending a cocktail party, a summer barbecue, or even your next wedding event.

Not only are they great for this season, but every bride needs some white dresses in their wardrobe to wear to their bachelorette party, engagement party, and rehearsal dinner.

I’ve rounded up my favorite little white dresses in my collection, as well as some other pieces that you will want to grab for yourself.

This ruffled white dress is first on my list. When I saw this beauty online, I knew I had to have it. I love how it has long sleeves, but also has a shorter length – it’s the perfect combination. And the details are so feminine and classy.

This textured dress has a lace scalloped v-neckline lined with a ruffled edge. The long sleeves have an elastic cuff, so it sits on your arm at the perfect spot. The elastic middle section defines the waistline, and ties together with a matching belt. The ruffled details are even included on the hemline, which I absolutely love.

If I had this dress several years ago when I was engaged, I would have worn this to my engagement party! But instead, I will be wearing it all around Charleston – date night, girls’ night, you name it. It fits true to size, and I am wearing a size small.

Next is this pretty little number – the white maxi dress. The words that come to mind when I see this dress are simplistically beautiful. The flow to it is so effortless. It’s a great length if you are looking for a maxi that doesn’t drag on the ground (I am 5’8″ for reference).

It has a looser fit to it, but when you tie the matching tie around your waist, the dress transforms and really cinches you in. Talk about slimming! It features a scoop neckline and a gathered tiered bottom.
