Top 10 Travel Essentials

May 28, 2020

Are you ready to start going on vacation again? I know I am! Now is the perfect time to stock up on some traveling essentials so that you will be ready to go on your next trip. I’ve put together my top 10 to help you ease into packing for your next excursion!

  1. Mossio Packing Cubes – Save time and space while you are packing with these organizational cubes. They are very versatile so you pick what goes in each one. Each cube is a different size so you can place larger items such as pants in the large cube, and items such as shirts or bras in the smaller cubes, etc. The possibilities are endless! The laundry bags are the best part. I always try to do laundry on vacation if a washer is available, but if it isn’t, you can use these to separate the dirty clothes from the clean.
  2. Travel Steamer – This is the BEST steamer. And I have tried several options out there. It heats up very quickly (the directions say it takes 2 minutes, but mine has never taken that long). The size and weight of it make it perfect for travel, but don’t worry, this little steamer is powerful!
  3. 10-Foot Charging Cable – An extra long phone charger is a must-have for me, both for travel and at home. I like to keep the short ones that come with your phone for other areas like my car or as a spare. But these 10-foot cables are perfect for everywhere else. When you are in a hotel, you never know where the wall outlet is going to be in comparison to the bed. But when you have this extra long cable, you won’t have to worry if your phone is going to reach the nightstand or bedside table.
  4. S’well Water Bottle – An insulated water bottle comes in handy when you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on a drink at the airport. Most airports have water fountains or bottle-filling stations, so you can fill up your bottle there at no cost! I always keep a water bottle with me on road trips, as well. It makes it a lot easier to have a drink ready in the car so you don’t have to make an extra pitstop.
  5. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask – This is a very hydrating mask that will help your skin look more radiant and less puffy after a long day of traveling. My skin looks very dull and tired after long flights, so this pick-me-up is exactly what I need. It even comes in a mini size, which is perfect for travel!
  6. Cotton Sleep Eye Mask – Use this mask to block out all of the light so you can get a restful snooze while on the plane. It is designed so that it blocks all of the light coming in from the nose area, as well. The mask is made out of cotton so it is breathable, soft, and comfortable to wear. I am all about some good zzz’s!
  7. Luggage Tags – We always like to make sure our identification cards are on our luggage, and these are the perfect tags for those! They have a privacy cover so you don’t have to worry about displaying your personal information. The blush pink color and written message are not only adorable, but will help your luggage stand out when you are grabbing it from the baggage claim.
  8. Adidas Cloudfoam Shoes – You cannot find a more comfortable tennis shoe than these! The top portion is made out of knit and they have a soft midsole cushioning, so they aren’t going to hurt your feet when you’re walking around the airport. Plus, the grey and white color make it easy to pair with almost any outfit. They run true to size.
  9. Mario Badescu Facial Spray – I have been using this facial spray for years and I absolutely love it. The mist contains gardenia, rose, and thyme which help to moisturize, clarify, and rejuvenate your skin. I like to use it after a long day of traveling when my skin is feeling dehydrated. You can even use it as the final step in your makeup application if you want a dewy look.
  10. Toiletry Travel Bag – This bag will fit ALL of your toiletries, and if you’re like me, you will use it for your jewelry, too. It has four separate transparent compartments so you can see where everything is, and organize all of your bottles, sprays, makeup, etc. The hook at the top makes it super convenient to hang in the bathroom or on a door for easy access in your room.
