How To Use
Depending on your starting shade, you will want to complete your applications for 7-14 days (I only needed to use it for 7 days to achieve my desired results). You will complete three different 8-minute applications each day.
- Plug your mouthpiece into the power pack
- Pair your power pack with the GLO Whitening app (optional)
- Apply the GLO lip care to your lips to keep them hydrated
- Squeeze a tiny amount of the gel onto the brush applicator of the GLO vial
- Brush a thin layer of the gel onto your top front teeth and bottom front teeth
- Insert your mouthpiece and use the GLO Whitening app (or button on the power pack) to start your whitening session
- Repeat steps 4-6 twice (three different 8-minute applications each day)
My Experience
Just a little bit of background… I used to use the Crest Whitestrips about once a year, but I haven’t purchased them in a LONG time (like 3 years). So, it was time to get my teeth looking pearly white again!
The Glo Science team was gracious enough to gift me their GLO Lit Kit, which I had heard positive reviews about. So I was excited to try it out for myself!
Although there are more pieces to this kit as opposed to whitestrips, it is a very straightforward and easy process. Just apply the gel to your teeth, put the mouthpiece in, and start whitening!
After just one application, I could already see that it was working. They recommend you use the product for 7-14 days, but I was able to achieve my desired results after just 7 days! So now I have a ton of vials leftover to use in the future.
The kit didn’t cause any sensitivity to my teeth, which is a HUGE pro. I’ve always had the opposite outcome with other teeth whitening systems.
I love that you can connect your power pack device to the GLO Whitening app, so it makes it easy to control the power pack from your phone, as well as schedule all of your whitening sessions so that you don’t forget. The app is completely optional, but an added plus!
In my opinion, this kit whitened my teeth better than any other method that I’ve tried. I started with a shade 3 (they provide you with a tooth shade guide), and ended with a shade 1 – the lightest shade on their spectrum. I am so happy with the results! It’s a little hard to tell in the before and after photos, but my teeth are so much whiter!
