Beauty Products I’ve Been Loving

September 14, 2020

I’ve been testing out some new beauty products lately, and wanted to share my favorites with y’all that I have been loving! These are items that I will definitely be re-purchasing in the future.

So, let’s get started!

Redken All Soft Shampoo // All Soft Conditioner

Up first is a new shampoo and conditioner combo that has been giving my hair life! The Redken All Soft line really does live up to its name. I’ve been using these products for a few weeks, and it has continually left my hair silky and smooth. Y’all, it is SO SOFT!

Y’all know I’ve had a lot of dryness in my hair that the Olaplex No. 3 Perfector has been able to fix, thank goodness (read about it here). This shampoo and conditioner allows me to keep all of the moisture and softness in my hair in between the days that I use the Olaplex product.

I was worried these products would give my hair too much of that silky look and start to look greasy, but it doesn’t do that in the least bit. My hair combs out much easier after each shower, and it has a healthy, shiny look after it dries.

Morphe Setting Mist

Next we have the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist that has been a must-have to help my makeup stay put. It claims to prevent your makeup from caking, melting, and fading, and it does just that!

The nozzle sprays a super fine mist, which is very important. Some setting sprays don’t have as fine of a mist, which allows you to see some of the droplets leftover on your face. But this spray and formula settles seamlessly on top of your makeup.

I notice a dramatic difference in the look of my makeup at the end of the day if I don’t use this product. It has amazing reviews and I can see why!

EcoTools Makeup Brush Shampoo

This is a new holy grail item for me. I’ve used other brush cleaners before, but honestly, they were just too pricey. But you get your money’s worth with this one. This one is just $8 and works wonders!

I use it on all of my makeup tools including my face brushes, eye brushes, beauty blenders, and other makeup sponges.

I like to clean my brushes after I apply my makeup in the morning so that they have plenty of time to dry. Your brushes won’t have any oily residue leftover on them.

This formula is hypoallergenic, made with gentle plant-based ingredients, and is dermatologist tested. I will admit I don’t wash my brushes as often as I should, but when I do, this shampoo removes every bit of makeup and keeps them looking brand new!

Essie Gel Couture Model Clicks // Top Coat

Last but not least is my new favorite fall and winter nail color. I have been using the Essie Gel Couture line for a while now, and it’s the only polish that will stay on my nails without chipping for over a week.

It comes with a top coat that is crucial to the longevity of your manicure. There are a ton of different polish colors, but I love the Model Clicks shade for this upcoming season. It is a deep wine color, and is so beautiful! Everyone needs a deep shade in their collection for fall, so I highly recommend this one.

In comparison to a gel manicure that you would pay for at the salon, this polish is just as good. But you don’t need any of the equipment that they use there. You just need the base color and the top coat, and voila, a perfect manicure!

Thanks for reading! xoxo
