A fashion trend that made a bold comeback last year were sheer tops. This year, a more subtle version of the trend is quickly becoming popular – sheer sleeves.
Statement sleeves are the perfect way to add dimension and detail to your ensemble, while keeping it feminine. I’ve rounded up my personal favorites in my wardrobe that are must-haves, as well as some others that I am dying to get my hands on.
This tie neck flocked blouse is dainty, elegant, and has the perfect details. The tie neck and satin finish give it a classic look, but the best part are the sleeves. They are mesh sleeves with intricate details all the way to the bottom, where it becomes a bell sleeve. So stunning!

This flutter sleeve top is more simple, but equally as amazing. I love how it can be worn with so many outfits, and is a great transition item for fall. The flutter sleeves are mesh and have a black band that lines the bottom. They are so beautiful in person!
I have mine tucked into denim jeans, but you could pair it with a flowy skirt, black jeans for a monochromatic look, or even trousers for the workplace. And y’all… IT IS ONLY $9! You truly cannot beat the price. It fits true to size – I am wearing a size small.
Black Bodysuit // Distressed Jeans // Nude Heels
I’ve saved my favorite type of top for last – the bodysuit! I own several black bodysuits, but none of them compare to this one. It is a ribbed fabric which contrasts so well with the statement sheer sleeves. I love how this bodysuit is long sleeve and has the dot details that go all the way to the bottom.
I always love to pair my bodysuits with my favorite denim pieces like these distressed jeans. The bodysuit is $40 (which I promise is worth it), and also comes in white. When I was at the store, I had a hard time choosing between the black and white options! It fits true to size – I am wearing a size small.
There are so many other sheer sleeve tops on the market that I am loving (see below)! Now to choose which ones to purchase…
